Re: Spa Classic Belgium and Swiss carshow
Richard was not the only one who attended Spa-Classic and the Japaner treffen in CH.
There were 6 roadster on Spa. We met up with some other Dutch and even 2 Norwegian guys. Jon Ivar was one of them (ownes a Fairlady too).
Sylvain from Datsun France made the set up and organized a lot, it was great to meet him.
There was also a guy from Polen with a 280Z, Andrzej, he drove 4 days and did 3464km, including 9 laps on the Circuit Francorchamps.
On saturday we left at 13:00 from Spa-Classic and drove to Swiss. We arrived at 19:30. The time we spent at the terrace of the hotel we had a great view, there where a lot of cars al kind of sizes, brands, old, new, amazing, wher driving by.
Sunday we where at the airport for the meeting, we joked around about maybe there will be only 7 cars, but at lunch time there where about 200 Japanese cars. A lot in a amazing original condition. Some in a surprising paint... Anyway Heiko did a great job with the event and in the evening we visited his place.
Monday we left about 7:45 and arrived at 17:30 at home.
We made a trip of approxemately 1924km's without any problems and enjoyed the car as well as the friends/compaignions and my Fairlady. love that engine.
