Hi 311s Families,
I am working on my 1600. I bought a aftermarket manifold and it is 2.25" in diameter. The frame's exhaust holes is only 2" in diameter. So how do I go about this? Go under the frame? I really don't want to go under the frame. It is ugly and not safe.
Worst case I just use the original header.

Re: Manifold and exhaust pipe
Reduce it down to two inches or ovalize it to fit through the frame. You probably don't need 2.25 on a 1600 anyway.

Re: Manifold and exhaust pipe
How about a flexible connection that also reduces the pipe diameter to suit the chassis holes?
Nissanman, just trying to help.

Re: Manifold and exhaust pipe
You might consider ceramic coating inside and out of your manifold or header if it is off the vehicle.
Seems it might keep things cooler. I am thinking of doing mine someday. I think my header is 2"
and for a 2 liter 1600 it works just fine.
