Just spoke to Guy - new plan - meet at Windmill Market in San Bautista @ 9.30am - quick coffee then hit road at 10am - chance to catch up Big Sur Crowd halfway down highway 1 - does anyone have a co-driver who can act as communications central for caravan Windmill?

Guy and Mat, that's too early for me, but don't let me alter your plan. I'd have to leave at about 7:30.

It's probably going to be a mostly top up ride regardless but I'm thinking a later start might encounter less coastal fog, be warmer and clearer. I'm pushing off San Jose at about 10:00 and hope to be in Solvang at about 5:00 or so.
