Now that the roadster is drivable, I installed the new steering wheel I got from Christmas. Feels so much different than the big stock "bus driver" steering wheel. I'm really liking it!

Out driving around testing out the new steering wheel.

I've got one just like that on my shelf. Only aluminum colored and not the blackish color. It looks nice on the roadster.

Nice! Yea, I'm pretty happy with the look. Its one of the cheaper steering wheel options, but I like it.

The Roadster was down for a little bit, after I noticed a gas leak coming from the rear float bowl. After further inspection I saw that the brass float itself was full of fuel. So I replaced both brass floats with the plastic floats, along with some fresh gaskets.

With the nice weather yesterday, I was able to borrow my bro-in-law's camera and get some good quality photos. I also decided I wanted to experiment with a different look and take off the bumper guards, I think I like the cleaner look.

Looking good. I too prefer the no over rider look.

Looks nice be sure to hang onto the stock wheel if you can ... you never know. My racing springs and original wheels were in my parents garage and they were not sure where they belonged and ended in the dump oh well....

Yup, the wheel is hanging up on my garage wall on display. It makes for a perfect piece of historical art. :)
