New owner in SoCal

Post by PandaSmash »

Hello everyone. I am the proud new owner of a 67' SPL311. I'm fairly new to the roadster community and I look forward to any help or advice that is available. I'm planning on doing a frame off restoration with an SR20DET swap. I just picked the car up a few days ago and have spent most of my time cleaning and taking out the torn up vinyl from the inside. I expect it to be a lot of work, but I am definitely looking forward to the finished product.

Welcome, nothing like a blank canvas start to a project. Let us know if you are missing any odds and ends. Some of us have been known to be bit of a hoarder when it comes to old parts.
Definitely try to make it out to riverside for Chris's (SOCALROC) preSolvang barbq. A great opportunity for meet and greet, but also to see Kevin D's awesome SR20 installs.

Hello, welcome. This site including the downloadable manuals, Tech articles and Search function for posts is a wealth of info.
To meet local owners, the weekly SuperCar Sunday show in Woodland Hills has Roadsters in attendance and is a starting point for many fun runs.
Enjoy your new project and be sure to challenge the experts here!

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.
