Wow! I have never seen the frame like this. Do you have more closer shots and a build thread here?

Thanks but too late. I was replacing nuts and bolts that a previous owner had used to customize the A pillar.

Today I brought a NOS chassis wiring loom for my restoration, a roadster part number, correct for mine.

Put the body on the chassis. Only the second time in 10 or so years they have been one. Now to determine locations for wiring, decide on radiator and many other bits. Sure feels good to see a car in my shop instead of random parts.

Looking very NICE and I sure know how gratifying it feels to see these things come together like that :)
Nice colour, is it OEM?

It's Ford Performance White 2005-2013. I had three choices a Honda, Chrysler and the Ford. One day I saw three white cars parked next to each other, a Honda, Chrysler and a Ford. It was a sunny day, the Ford was a clear winner. Pat

Not yet, I'll have to get something going. It looks so different all stripped. The phosphate coating makes it look like rainbow in places because of the oil in it.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

All the holes in the door limiter hangers/brackets and arms were different sizes. They were also oblong from small threaded bolts installed by someone in the past. I drilled all pieces to a larger size then made a bushing to go through all three on each side. A clevis pin cut to the minimum length holds it all together. Now the door trim does not hit the fender when the door is fully opened. :D

Adventurous day in the 1964 SPL310 today.

Woke up early this morning to be the first person at the tire shop to have my new white wall tires installed on the roadster. I had spoken with the shop a while back, and the manager offered to order the tires via (coker) or said I could order myself, and he'd be happy to install.

Brought the car in a 9AM, and I was the first (and only customer) at the shop. Unfortunately, the manager I had previously spoken with was now at another shop. Two technicians and the part-time manager couldn't figure out how to mount the new tires on the stock SPL310 rims. They were able to mount a single tires, but gave up on tire number 2.-4.

The end result...

Image

Yeah...and to top it off...driving home on my mismatched tires, with the cockpit filled with four additional unmounted tires..and broke down. Fuel filter was filled with junk AND accelerator cable loosened up.

Only had a flathead screwdriver and some carb starter with me...Adjusted the cable and temporarily bypassed the filter. Fun, fun :)

Why couldn't they mount them? What was the issue?
