LOoks good! Seems to me that you keep avoiding the coilover questions...lol...I too am curious in the front setup and how you went about doing it.

I would also like to know what coil over. Have thought about going with airbags for my project. Yes yes I know air bags(OK just thinking)

Umm. the "coilover question" has been asked without an answer forthcoming. Perhaps the brand and type are unknown?

For a leaf-to-coilover conversion (which is very compelling, and the 4-links that could go with it) I'd like to know:

1. Height and length of stroke of the coilovers.
2. Spring rate (and length, if not provided with the dampers).
3. **** how does it work? Bump-stop and suspension extension (droop) are the first questions. Dampening and spring rate are the subjects of finer tuning.

Please educate us! This is a cool car and sweet suspension that you are embarking upon.

There will pics following ..
We have dropped the body on the car. The Coil Overs look really cool and should give the agressive stance we are after.( Won't know how that is until car is rolling, it's on stands for most of the build.)
Finished of the power brake system using 240sx brakes and 300zx master and booster.
Made wire raceways to hide all the wiring.
Re-wired the entire car useing an EZ wiring harness
Mounted and wired in The Classic Instruments guages with metric sppedo.
Wired in a push button start switch
Wired in the Simple Digital System EM-5
Made up the wire harness for the AEM coil on plugs.
Heavly modified the trunk to accomadate the fuel cell and suspension rear mounting points. Oops should have built the mounts a bit smaller.
Intalled a Desol Rad and tilted it so we could get the maximum clearance for the future rack and pinion.(not going to done this year)
The body work is the stage we are at the old ugly fuel spout will be filled in smooth and new location will be put in using a So Cal flush mount.
Seats and roll bar will be on the list to fab and figure out in Febuary..
The goal is to have the car completed by July for a Show and Shine in our old home town. This is the same car he bought when he was 14 yrs old in 1974. (pretty cool !)

The Coil over are Aldans ..The smallest we could find..Not sure if the are the right ones yet..but changeing them is easy after wards..we can modify them to suit our needs.... Not as easy as the Shock Waves I am using in my Roadster but a hell of alot cheaper. The hole suspension with the 4 coil overs were cheaper than my two shock waves alone..not to mention the air tank-compressor-elecrtric valves and switches I had to install to make my rear suspension adjustable.

Correction the Coil overs are QA1 Ultra Rides...8 5/8" to 11 1/8" up front and 10 1/8" to 14" in the rear. The guys at QA1 engineered it for us.

Here is the flush mount fuel cap..it actually looks really good in the stock location :( but will not work with the RCI fuel cell.

Hey, I have 3 of those on my Boat. I should get a Diesel one for the back of my roadster.

They are about 1/2 that cost also.

Maybe one of the other styles will work with your RCI Fuel cell.
What the problem?

The cell and inlet plumbing is located closer to the front of the car, two alternate locations are being considered, 1)behind the driver inbetween the trunk and tonoue or 2)somewhere on the drivers side rear area. Seems to be a very easy install just need a hole saw and drill.
