Another relatively new NC owner

Post by sexton »

Hey all, my name is Chris and I'm in Raleigh, NC. I have a '68 1600 that I picked up this past summer that I've been slowly working on. It was running and driving until last month when I started ripping stuff apart to remove a prior owners fiberglass rust repairs.

Will try to post some pictures soon and probably will document some of the floor pan replacement, as I'm sure I'll also have a few questions.

Here's a couple of photos where she sits right now. I've started chipping out the fiberglass that a previous owner used to hide rust. I've got a mostly decent used floor pan that will work for cutting patches. Looks like I've also got a leaking brake or clutch cylinder, as evidenced by the fluid.
