Sid, my valve cover is the Solex cover.no clip no rivets no holes.Your knoledge of these cars is unreal.Arnold

Thanks for the kind words Arnold! I just happen to recall useless stuff about Roadsters. LOL!! :lol:

It seems that there are a fair number of solex cam covers out there. A lot of Canadian cars were delivered with the Solex package from new, so that could be a source of yours!

Sid,

Have you ever visited Canada? Your roadster knowledge is humbling!

Back when these cars were new or new new, the only 2 liter SU setup I recall seeing was a 1970 2000 a buddy bought new. The 20 or so other 2000's I was familiar with then were Solex equipped.

I have only been in Canada for a very brief visit at Niagra. Maybe some day I will make it up there again for more than an hour or so...
