Sears Point autocross day November 22

Post by SLOroadster »

We are running the last autoX day in the Sears Point paddock for the year Saturday November 22. Come on out. No pressure, no timing equipment, lots of runs. I'll likely be out with my roadster (unless its raining).

By the way, no roll bars required. If you are interested in giving it a try, please come out.

I should be able to make this. I still have the 3.7 in the rear and normal tires, but these narrow cars make it a ton of fun.

The course will likely be more open than what you have run with us in the past. At the July event we had a 70+ mph section, I was running out of 3rd gear when I hit the braking zone for the turn around, and then hitting about the same speed going back before diving for the brakes and making a sweeping left turn. We have also done away with the 3 stations in the morning and are running the full course all day long.

I don't know that I'll be doing a lot of driving this time around as I've had several people request me to ride along with them. I'm not sure how many people we have signed up at this point. At one of the previous events we had a guy do 45 runs in his S2000. He was hard core!

It would be great to get a group of roadsters running. There will be at least one 240Z and possibly a nice 510 running as well.

As of 5:30pm 11/16, we only have 34 people signed up. That means TONS of seat time! If anyone is on the fence, please come out and have some fun.
