Temple City Car Show

Post by nismou20 »

So I entered a local Car show with my Vette buddy where I represented the only Nihonsha there. Among the entrants was one Triumph I've never seen before. Owner reflected that there may only be about 50 in the country. Aluminum body made from Mosquito aircraft from the war. Sound familiar Peter? Yes he mentioned of a Datsun Roadster owner he knows in Van Nuys.

Yup, Tom's Triumph 2000 - cool car - 3 across seating + dickey. He does good work.

Great pics. That Triumph is beautiful.

Not quite right. Being a WWII aircraft geek I love the sweet irony of this quote. :)

Yes. The wiki mentions that the Triumph was made from the form press tooling used to make the Mossie. Neat connection none the less.
