Z lug nuts are metric, and some Nissan wheels require a larger OD lugnut. Measure and compare OD and shank length. The 7/16 lug nuts are super cheap if you have standard mag wheels, I would just buy new ones.

Wow, did not think the caps would work... cool! I've always seen them with no caps on the front (shows how attentive I am!). From Alvin's pics you can see how I chose to paint them with the black triangles.

I ordered these lugs http://www.ezaccessory.com/Toyota_Lexus ... /5001t.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and I can confirm that they do work with these wheels on stock studs. I am excited to get the wheels cleaned up and put some fresh tires on. Thanks for all the help.

What size tires should i run on these 280zx rims. 195/60/14 or will a 195/70/14 work too?

70 is really poofy. 60 should be fine. 195 is a bit wide for a 6 in wheel. So i guess a 195/70 is really big. Way too big for a 6in wide wheel. A 185/60 would fit on the wheel better, but imho looks a little small on a 311.
Really depends on the look and performance you are trying to acheive.

Not a lot of choices in this tire size anymore. Hey, Alvin, where besides Tire Rack can I find optional tires? I will be in the market for some new tires soon. Any feedback on the General Altimax HP? I can't find a summer tire anywhere in this size.

I'm currently running the RT-215. They seem OK for the track. I don't think they are the most streetable tire though.

So I did my best to clean these rims up by hand. They are not perfect, but a little elbow grease and some paint and they look pretty good from a couple feet away.
