A good Reason not to Drive too FAST!
This happened around the corner from my house today. This is a 2-lane neighborhood street that runs in front of an elementary school one block away. There are even speed humps in the street. This idiot was doing about 70 in a 25mph zone.

WARNING SARCASM AHEAD
Remember the good old days, some idiots get drunk or drive too fast, crash the 53 Buick Dreadnought into a tree, all the unrestrained passengers fly about the steel interior or are flung out. Wipe off the bodily fluids, new front bumper and grill and the car is fine. Idiots don't live to reproduce. Of course there are innocent victims too, I'm not being THAT cold.
Now we have airbags and seatbelts, which are great for protecting the innocent, but allow the stupid, who learned to drive on a Nintendo, to live and go on and do it again. The kids around here steal cars to crash them into a wall to blow the airbags. Would probably sue you if they stole your car and the airbag failed.
