I contacted the seller a few days ago... He said the car will need it's head gasket issue addressed before it could make it the trip back to where I live (3 hour drive). And I'm being kinda picky... not sure if I like the color.
Bummer about the gasket. I agree the color isn't pretty. Looks like a good start from a dry climate tho.
Take your time, be picky. Sales are seasonal as well.

It does look like copart took the Datsun.

Wish you luck finding another roadster. :D

There it is! :( Makes me sad to see those pics. Hopefully someone can breathe new life back into it.

Sorry about your luck bro, everyones worst nightmare fer sure. I am in Portland not far from you. Here is my nightmare I have been doing a rebuild on a 68 2k for about 6 months and was all but finished, the last thing I needed was to reinstall the wind shield my glass guy was struggling with it and the next thing you know he cracked the glass. It sounds like you maybe cashing out of your roadster any chance you can hook me up with some glass or at least tell me where the insurance co. is sending the remains. I will be willing to give you a finders fee if things work out.

Are you set on getting a used windshield? Are you aware that you can buy a new windshield from the vendors?

That's a real bummer man, sorry to hear. My roadster caught fire last July and since then I've seen it on craigslist, and I'm sure it's long gone. Hopefully it's getting rebuilt somewhere. Plus, it was a low windshield which is different from your 68 I believe.

Like notoptoy said there are some vendors that will have your windshield.

Good luck, I look forward to seeing your build and hopefully in person at a local meet. :)

Was a nice car. I bought mine a few months ago (also 25 turning 26 in June). Mine is red so it make me feel like it was a midlife crisis buy

Midlife crisis? Sorry, but you need at least 15 or 20 more years before you can have a midlife crisis!!
