Finally restoring the Fairlady!
Hi Community!
I'm finally restoring my early 65 Fairlady. 1500. One of my first conversations on this journey led me to this forum. What a wealth of knowledge here. Before this, I didn't know there was anyone else in the states that even knew what a Fairlady was, much less own one.
A little history on my car. My dad bought the car in the early 70's and put it in my grandpas garage shortly after meeting my mom. He gave the car to me when I was 14. It was a project we could work on together and we did for a few years here and there. I got a job ( to support the car), then came boys, college, marriage and kids. 22 years later, my 36 year old self wants to shake some sense into my 14 year old self.
I'll post pics when I can. In the meantime, any wisdom you could pass along would be very much appreciated.
Glad I'm not alone!
Katie

Thank you!
Yes enjoying our Michigan mid summer. Life slows down here June thru August. The only thing better than sitting on the patio researching my car would be driving it.

Re: Finally restoring the Fairlady!
Just found out about these cars a few weeks ago.
Couldn't imagine having one for 22 years and letting it sit.
Hope to see some pics soon.
