You are going to win the Rags to Riches award when this is all over. That is alot of hard work you are doing there. Thanks for sharing.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Boy you guys (& gal) sure now how to encourage a guy, so thanks, yea I had to take my own advice and "just weld it already". I went to a couple of body shops and they just looked at me and said I don't know.... Went to a paint shop and they wanted to sell me on POR15 PowerMesh a reinforcing fabric to bridge rust holes, no resin just the POR15 paint to harden the fabric. Then use the bonding adhesive to bond the cowl to the body - no welding. Did not like that so much. Well the last body shop I went to told me to simplify it - quit trying to make complex bends and start with small holes and weld it up. KEEP IT COOL, small tacks and use compressed air to cool the metal and back with Copper, take your time. So yea I just needed to give it a go....

See, I knew you would figure it out. Looking good but a lot of work ahead but with your skills that should not be a problem.

Thanks guys, and yep the fab work is the best part of any build...IMO

As for the center gauge, above the screen there is 3 idiot lights I ,IIRC because I've never rode a Busa and don't want to... Thinking it is high beam, oil light, and something else. The screen has time, what gear your in, and odometer.
