Top quality video, you have had some really professional treatment along the way, each of your videos have been so well composed and just add to the mystique of the whole trip. Thanks again, and again, and again for sharing!

I bet Scott Fisher's roadster would bring more than $50 600.00 at Gooding, Amelia Island 2015...

Geoff, I wonder if you noticed that the YouTube view counter has already topped 14,000 ....

And here among the comments is an example of Scott's ambassadorship:

"I have never seen that car before and I want one now. Such beautiful styling."

I guess we have to assume (hope?) that all the exposure from Scott's trip will raise the value and awareness of our little cars!

I was at my Nissan dealer the other day attending to my truck that is in their shop. I caught one of the owners sitting in his office and directed him to our site, and pointed out the blog on the travels of Scott, and his hero status welcome at Nissan's headquarters. I showed him the miles put on the roadster during his travel, and the map showing his path. He was reading Scott's write up as I left.

I believe that, from now on, any "iron butt" awards given out at Solvang or Shasta or Watkins Glenn or where ever else are going to hvae to be called the "Scott Fischer Iron Butt" award. :!:

Man - that was an awesome video. Kudos to Scott and Petrolicious. Maybe we can put together a restoration parts cache - or at least buy him some new drivers seat bottom foam :-)

Cheers

Thanks again everybody for all the really nice comments...it was an amazing trip, and I'm looking forward to the next one (which, incidentally, will probably be a shorter 1500 miler or so up to a Lemons race at Sears Point next weekend.) The response from everybody here and the sports car community at large has been really fantastic, and Petrolicious did an amazing job with the video. It's really remarkable to see how fast and how far the story spread on the internet...it's kind of fun being a Roadster evangelist. :)

Hope to see a lot of you at Solvang; I've decided to take the car there "as-is", deer dent and everything. I'm still looking for a 66-67 right front fender if anybody has one kicking around, though...

Taking it with the battle scars is appropriate. You'll like Solvang, if you haven't been, it's an experience the first time. Get a hotel room ASAP if you need one. See if you can use your celebrity status to get the Nissan brass to stop by :)

Representing for the Roadster community at the Petrolicious rally last weekend...was pretty cool parking next to Jerry Seinfeld. :)

Once again Scott, you represent Roadsters remarkably! I'd say you got a disproportionate amount of coverage in the number of pictures you appear in versus the rest of that rarified field!
Well done - again!!

Very cool. I just remembered I didn't sign the fender in Solvang.

When's the next roadtrip?

For those of us that followed Scotts trip. He added what might be the conclusion. Hopefully Scott will be at Shasta. We will be headed out Monday the 7th. Anyway, read Scotts summary. It was a great trip to follow.
