Post by steve68 »

i took my girls 17x8 wheels off her celica and they fit in the front perfectly. Will they fit in the back? if so they look great on the datsun...

Ill find some specs on her wheels and pics.

Thanks

I have 200sx FWD wheels on mine, only needed a small spacer in front to clear the hub. Are you going to take her wheels, or get your own? :D

Steve,

The front wheel drive wheels will go on, and since they have a shallow face, they look ok on the Roadster (better on the 1500, but I digress) I am willing to bet that you did not turn the wheel though. I tried a 15x7 front wheel drive wheel on a Roadster and it would hit the suspension when the wheel was turned. Fit was OK in the back. A 15x6 may work better. You may be OK with the bigger diameter, but then you may run into fender clearance issues.

I believe that they do. The bolt pattern is the same iirc.

I had 14" rims with some big tires(forgot what size) but when the wheel was turned all the way it was a few about a inch from hitting the swaybar. 17's will most likely will rub on it.
