On Sunday bikermike, roadsterdude and I took the cars out for a spin. The Three Roadsterteers blasted up Skyline to Alice's Restaurant/Hwy 84 and back. The weather was perfect and the roads were surprisingly traffic-free for a Sunday afternoon!
We stopped briefly at a vista point overlooking Palo Alto and Bikermike had a great idea of checking out Thomas Fogerty Winery:
Raul took some nice pictures and Mike's got some video on the way from his new rig.
His SPL always looks spotless. Cheeky!
Great pictures Alvin (as always).
I especially like the top picture of the 3 cars noses staggered to show the front wheels of all three.
Great comparison of stock wheel with whitewalls, Panasport type and Libre type wheels, different wheel sizes and ride heights.
Lotta info in that pic.
Thanks
Dan

Old enough to know better, too old to remember why!
1969 2000 solex mine since 1972, under resurrection. (Finally resurrected as of spring 2019!)
1969 Porsche 911s -worth more, but not as valuable! Gone!
2017 Lotus Evora 400 - Oh my!!
What Alvin said... Don't hold off on fun runs just because your car isn't quite as pretty yet! People appreciate a diamond in the rough, and it will inspire you on those days where the damn such n such (fill in the blank) won't come off/adjust/cooperate/not break and you're pissed!
I'll never forget the Roadster that showed up to the third Shasta meet with bailing wire holding some parts on... Loved it!
Wish I was over there more often, the roads, the weather, the company of other roadsters (and their owners). Just finished mine and only a few enjoyable evenings left to roll it out befor the summer heat becomes unbearable.
If the grass is greener on the other side of the hill,
It will be thicker, require more watering and will be harder to mow....
