Group Buy

Hi

I don't know if this would work but I have seen some other forums that offer a group buy. For example, see:

Sounds like some vendors will give a discount if enough people get together to purchase something. (e.g. headlights, wax, oil, car covers etc)

Any comments?

I think its a nice thought, but you have to realize that there were not enough of these cars manufactured were there are numerous resorces for parts for our vehicles.

And as Nissan keeps dumping more and more parts for our cars from their shelves the parts on our vendors shelves become more valuable and harder to replenish.

Talking to more and more of our vendors, they are not finding it as easy to replace some stock as they have in the past.

Don't get me wrong I would be all for it!!! But I think the vendors are seeing their margins shrinking with the limited availabilty of parts.

Please don't get me wrong. I fully agree with you about our vendors.

I was thinking more on the line of items that may be needed that are available from larger distributors (e.g. Aftermarket headlights, aftermarket exhaust systems, oils and lubricants, Safety Harnesses, etc.)

Anyway, just a thought.
