Was the stock steel wheel color that silver grey regardless of the car color?

Yes, but some Japanese cars had black wheels in photos that I have seen. No idea on a color code.

I'd like to know the color code as well, if someone can dig it up. I've got a couple of samples of Rust-Oleum colors that I'm contemplating using. Here's one color I tried out on the stock lug wrench.

Yeah, I'm kinda leaning this way. It's got just a bit of a metallic look, vs the more dull gray of the stock wheels. I figure it'll be good to last me till I go for a new set of Panasports.jamesw wrote:That looks pretty good!
