Solvang Camping - Where is everyone camping?

Post by Skyman »

So, I just registered for Solvang! I'm thinking of camping a couple of the nights during the journey. Where is everyone camping? I probably need to make some reservations for campgrounds, if there are still some available. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I can't wait to meet all my roadster friends!!! :D :D :D

Try Flying Flags RV park convenient, as the Friday night garage meet prior to Sat show is just a stones throw across the street. Large park and will easily accommodate tent campers in the grass field.

You don't really have to reserve that far in advance. They had a ton of space available in the grassy field but the sites along the border might need a res. check past threads for some pics

Motel 6 Buellton. LOL. Wasn't sure my camping equipment would fit in our little cars.

You would be surprised at how much stuff you can get into a Roadster. Check out Scott's around the USA blog. I was amazed.

So, ended up at the Quality Inn in Buellton. What happens after the show? I only have one night reserved unless there are some after parties or something. If not, I guess we'll just head to the coast for some driving!
