2014 Norcal Friday Coastal Caravan to Solvang - 4/25

Let's use this thread to coordinate logistics for anyone interested in driving down to Solvang via Hwy 1 on Friday 4/25.

Chevron, Watsonville - 8:45am-9am
200 Lee Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076

Chevron, Carmel - 9:30-9:45am
3645 Rio Rd, Carmel, CA 93923

TBD - Other locations further south - Cambria, Cayucos, SLO

That may be just a touch early for me. I'll be bunking in Paso Robles for the evening. Also am coordinating with Mike from RWC. Long time 69 2000 owner. First time to the Solvang festivities! I will let him know.

The following is a great route to Solvang. We could meet up at the Target or Nissan Dealership on Los Osos Valley Road off the 101 and then caravan to Solvang. Its about a 1.5 hour drive. Maybe a nice winery stop along the way.

Opps - actually a 2 hour drive. If we met in SLO around 1 - 2 we could be Solvang around 4 - 5.

Well, looks like the Roadster will not make it this year. I was running the engine and giving everything the once over and it just died. All signs point to a ECU problem. Doubt it will get fixed in time. Gonna see if I can change my registration to the 240Z. If I can change it, at least it's keeping in the Fairlady spirit!
