Warm enough today I pulled the Datsun out into the drive and fired it up after months of hibernation.
Installed the headlight switch that I refurbished and fixed and got it working, installed new relays for the headlights and and set up the wiring for the fog lamps.
Too much snow and ice still to take it out on the road.

Finished helping Roadsterdude get his rear brakes sorted out - replaced the driver side wheel cylinder and replaced the shoes. We went for a short shakedown ride afterwards.

Started installing the sound deadening panels to the interior of the cabin.
The product I'm using is a 25%/75% by weight, PVC/Barium powder sheet 660 x 330 x 2.3mm.

I only had 4 sheets initially so here is the area they covered.

It was soft enough to force it down into the profile of the panels giving a nice continuous coverage.

I estimate that I will require approx. 2.5 SqM to line the cabin floor.

Hopefully, the remaining 8 panels I ordered will be available tomorrow and I'll be able to complete the job.
Nissanman, just trying to help.

It's not self adhesive but that's OK with me.
I just sprayed a hint of contact adhesive on the fabriic side and the cabin panels.
It ain't going to float away!

It's called Heavy Duty Sound Barrier Damping Material.

Thanks Alvin, I have a ton of pics I've taken over the last three winters that I've been working on it. I never started a thread because I didn't know how to post pics. Maybe sometime I'll put something together. Mike
