I saw the tension was the lower but was hoping the head could be used in the upper. Many people don't even bother installing the lower as the chain cannot jump down there. I installed mine. Maybe it will made it quieter. I haven't really compare the head of the upper with the lower but it would be good to figure out next time, if the lower head can be used in the upper. No problem. I don't believe the head was the same or I probably would have re-used my original upper as well. The part can be bought very cheaply,I think it was like 5-10 dollars, so if you wanted to check you aren't out much.
