Can someone "bottom line" me on Rota wheels?

Ok first, I have searched and read as much info as possible here at 311s.org. I want Pana$ports but they're a little out of my price range. Rota's look very similar so that's what I wish to go with.

I have decided on Rota 15x7's with 195/50/15's (thanks to all of your input)

I really appreciate all of the info here. We seem to begin discussions and then we have difference of opinions which leads to examples of it working on one car but not on the next etc. Make sense? I will follow a thread and believe I have found the answer and them someone will chime in saying it won't work. Again, the info here has been invaluable. I would not be this far along on my 68 without all of your input.

So, please bottom line me.
1.) Will I need to alter my front hub to get the Rotas to fit?
2.) Will I need to change the front and back studs?

I understand that on a low windscreen the ET from 12 is a little to much on the front, but I don't know if you have a low or high windscreen. there are a few topics about this wheels.

Hard to give a true bottom line.

I have the Rota size you mentioned and the tire size, so here is why it won't be a real bottom line. Question 1. (will you have to alter your hub)...since you read all the threads you will note that is a yes/no answer. The Rota's that RacingLab were selling are listed as a 73mm hub, but they do not fit over our hubs...so why y/n on altering of the hub. As you probably noted in your research you can alter the two front hubs and then all four rims will fit, but others just ground down the inside lip of the two front rims...so no altering hub, but I can't rotate tires front to back (since I took this route)
There are also Rota's now listed with "big caps" which are said to have the correct hub hole (I can't verify that).
Question 2. (replace front/back studs)
The lugs are also a yes/no because again it's about choice. The factory rear are fine for Rota's, the fronts are up for debate; the Rota's "fit" on the factory front lugs but are shy of what many members feel is a safe amount of turns on the lug nut...I changed mine for safety and it's a simple upgrade (you can see how much longer the new ones are).

I found your lug pic in a previous post. Great info. Sounds like folks like 9 turns on their lugs

Thanks for the reply. Not sure if any of you are like this, but I'm not good at returning stuff and I hate to do things twice. This can be a good or a bad asset. I do things right the first time but it takes forever to commit to it. That's why I'm grateful for this site.

The rotas with big caps the hole is chamferd to to accomadate the even weldment were the bearing cone hub meet the mounting flange .But it still did not fit all the way against When i separated my hub from rotor to in stall my longer studs, i checked fitment of hub to the wheel ,i had to take a little off the hub where the flat flange meets the bearing cone . I did this while the stud were out . I used a dremel .I smooth it down a little bit at a time till it fits againt hub.The amount you have to take of is minimal . or you can have them turn on lathe . It only took couple minutes a per side with dremel and only took off enough for hub to fit in wheel . I did change studs, fronts and rears . I also cleaned and repacked front bearings .

I machined the wheels (all 4) to fit the front hubs. I used long shank lug nuts where the threads reach back through the thickness of the wheel, some have a lot of thread engagement.

I had to roll the rear fenders with 195/60-15 tires

I have the Rota/tire package you are asking about. The large cap wheels fit fine, had to get longer studs. No body clearance issues. Pat p.s. pulling the hub and changing is studs is no big job, just whack the old stud with a hammer. A good time to replace or service the wheel bearings
