My 1968 2000 project

I am almost done spring 2014 Seats, Bumpers, Wheels /Tires & Carbs and fire it UP.


Here my project I started about a year ago I have a couple week ends of work to finish Interior and then time to fire her up, I have the carbs being restored and new wheels coming next week.

Wow, it must be very gratifying to look through all the pics and see where you have come from, one step at a time. I often use things like car restoration as a metaphor for rebuilding ones life when working with patients, and this is a perfect example to illustrate that. Congrats, the car looks great!

Great work, with a lot of precision build. nice wheels and color.
Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall,torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I just got my carbs back from Paltech I am going to run the SU and swap to the Solex after I get everything sorted out with the car.

I would just skip the SUs and fire her on the solexes! That way you can sell the SUs as never run since rebuilt. It will run fine with general jetting, then you can fine tune it. Looks great!
