He must have meant only 350:

1970 painted red with-
aftermarket mirrors,
different steering wheel,
moulding removed,
headrests removed,
dashcovered,
missing center console,
de-smogged.

Yeah maybe only 350 with that combo.

Otherwise a nice car. But only 101mph? We know better.

He compares them to MGs and Triumphs. Maybe he means the ones that don't run.

Yeah,
I wouldn't believe him on the reserve. Might get caught.

I emailed both the owner and eBay seller. Both were nice and appreciated the "truth." Very impressed w/ 311s.org website. Although the listing wasn't changed, they did add my email to the bottom.

I know mine's one of a kind, not to many red velvet interiors out there, although Mark sent me a photo of one with orange velour and a car with a Continental Kit just sold on Ebay. By the way if the winning bidder of that car sees this, I need the Continental kit so I can finish my Pimpster. Whitewalls and Tru-spokes next and a big parrot for the roll bar. I was thinking about a set of steer horns for the hood, but it will block the triple chrome musical air horns.
