Radiator hoses for SR swap with Del Sol V-Tec radiator
With so many doing the SR swap using the Del Sol V Tec radiator it was surprising that I could not find specific part numbers on the forum for the radiator hoses that work best. Has anyone figured that out?

Re: Radiator hoses for SR swap with Del Sol V-Tec radiator
I used the following on my S14 sr20det with Kyoto Del Sol radiator:
upper hose- 91-02 Saturn SL1 (Gates#21947, Dayco#71576)
lower hose- 89-90 Nissan 240sx (Nissan 21503-40F65)
Both have to be cut. Upper is easy. Lower hose has temp switch (open-close ground switch) which
I used for my fan control. Had to be a little creative in cutting and depends on how you modify your
thermostat housing hose flange. Lower hose was a challenge because recirc valve aluminum tube is in the way
on my det version.

Not sure if there is a standard hose other than diameter. As not all radiators are mounted exactly the same. IIRC the Honda bibs are 1 3/8"and the sr is 1 1/2". One could calculate that to mm which would be more correct for the sr.
I modified both sr inlet and outlet housings to accommodate the same upper and lower hose.

Re: Radiator hoses for SR swap with Del Sol V-Tec radiator
I used the Kyoto radiator for a Del Sol with 32mm (1 1/4") hose flanges ( Model # C1570). The
Saturn hose is 1 1/4" diameter off one bend and the other bend is flared out to about 1 1/2". This hose
worked perfect for my application as I left the SR outlet stock (1 1/2"). So you could use this hose without modifying
anything, except for cutting the hose. The lower hose you will have to figure out because of the number of variables. Water pump and alternator
pulleys and the belt, if turbo engine recirc plumbing, etc. Like David said there is no standard hose. I will
happy to take some detailed pics of my application and share them with you.
