My 2nd Car!!!

Post by nking79 »

I just purchased a 1969 1600 up in MA. I drove up this morning to see it in person. The car is in good shape - exterior and interior. Originally from CA and garaged, there is almost no rust. The engine, from a 1500, has a knock. I'll drop in my restored 1600 engine and should be running this fall.

I have some weatherstripping to replace around the doors, windows and trunk. The car comes with many extra parts - trunk, 3 doors, bumpers, quarterpanels, radiators, wiring harnesses, chrome parts, and too much more to really list. I will end up selling many of these parts to make back the cost of the car - most are in almost new condition.

Hey congratulations! Looks like you found a good counterpart to complete your car (or motor that is). Swapping the motor over shouldn't be too difficult, but there will no doubt be some interesting moments.
