How to Whiten Knob Letters

I tried this sharpie I found at Auto Zone and it worked great! I put it on ensuring it filled in the letters and the wiped with a paper towel.

I used white touch up paint........worked great also.....good tip

Nice tip. I will be looking for one of those markers. I have several that cannot be read.

Tried the Mean streak but could not clean off the extra ink with a paper towel. Any trick here? Seemed to smear on the black.

Use some acetone (nail polish remover) on a Qtip. if you screw up just redo. I used appliance touch up paint.

For me the trick was to wipe the excess off immediately. The letters came out great.
