Please register specifing SoCalROC as club affiliation. I spoke to Kogi last weekend and he confirms that SoCalROC will have a club aea with banner. We will need to arrive early (7:00 am) to pre-register/check-in together. I have vollenteered to set up and run pre-registration/check-in, so I'll be there even earlier.

Get those registrations in so we can claim the area size we need.

Vic,

I am registered, but I did not put a club affiliation. Is there any way to change this so that I can be near the rest of you guys?

You better remember another one!!! I didn’t put any club affiliation too, but I did email Kogi this morning to add me to the SoCalROC group

Victor, thanks for the great effort!!

One other thing, Joaquin and I were talking about caravanning through Belmont Shores and down through Ocean Avenue to get to the Queen Mary from our homes (we’re in Buena Park), so if anyone want to hook up… let me know.

Does anyone have a 10 X 10 or larger canopy that Terry (Mrs. Yamaguchi) could use for the registration desk. She's much too pretty to sun damage! worst-come-to-worse I'll buy one. I did some shopping on the Web today and they look to cost around $200.00! And, they don't look like they'll fit in a roadster trunk, Especially one already loaded with "Camp Vic".

FYI.
I got this message from Kogi, for those who ar thinking about registering at the gate.

P.S. There will be most likely "no at-gate-registration" since we have met the limit number....
so if you know friends who are interested in registration at the gate, please let them know.

Thank you & Best regards

We are pleased to announce that our registration goal of 150 cars has been met. It makes us excited that the response has been so great. We will continue to take pre-registrations for a few more cars. However, we are no longer allowing late registrations or gate registrations. I plan on attending the show. I don't have a roadster, but I am an enthusiast that likes vintage Japanese cars.

It looks like it's going to be a nice event.

Vic,

I sent in an e-mail to the operations@ mail box and requested to be included in the SoCalRoc attendees total. I'm hoping that it wont complicate things too much or be too much of a hassle. Just to let you know.

I recieved the following from Mrs Yamaguchi for release -
-----Quote------------
"we have already 200 cars & we will closing the registration. Gate open for only "pre-registered" owners 8am- 9am, and for towing vehicles need to come around 7:30am is better while enough space for towing cars is left. (Towing cars need to be relocated to the general parking at Queen Mary right next to the venue."
------End Quote-------
Their first show is a success before it even starts! 200 Classic Japanese cars is a venue not to be missed.
