Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Took a ride to the Cayuga Lake wine trail with Joe Suzanne and Holly.
Enjoyed some great views of the lake from the wineries, Bumped into a pre-wedding party, and had the perfect fall day with friends.

Drove to the Columbia River today. 325 miles.
Plenty of fog and low clouds all week in the Puget Sound area but nice in the Cascade Mountains and Eastern WA.
Warmer at Snoqualmie Pass than at Bellevue.
East on I90 over Snoqualmie Pass and then on back roads to the Columbia River at Vantage.
Ted.

Drove out to the Inland Empire Datsun meet.. Said hi to the Desirellos..

Some cool stuff..

Found a 240 painted almost exactly my color.. interesting style study..

Look at the rear fender line..

Took a ride up GMR and ran into a basic 1975 Corolla..

Well, a basic SC400 4 liter supercharged v8 Corolla… Amazing piece..

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Curtis,
That is a 1975 Corolla, gutted, caged, rebuilt with a supercharged 1uz motor out of an SC400.. It's blindingly quick.. and the sound of him coming up the hill was just awesome..

Cascade Triple Pass loop. 340 miles. 10-23-13
Another beautiful Fall day in the Cascade Mts. (Foggy and cold around Puget Sound).
A popular 3 Pass loop. N & E over Stevens Pass, 4061', S over Blewett Pass, 4102' and W over Snoqualmie Pass, 3022'.
A side trip up the Chiwawa River road where the bridge deck was made for big cars.
Ted.

Wow Ted, nice pics! It was beautiful in the Great Northwest yesterday, but I went chanterelle mushroom hunting instead... scored big at my secret spot. I really wanted to get the blaster out for a quick run but got home too late. Thanks for flying the Roadster flag!

Been there, done that, but not since I was 15 or so!

Honestly, it helps me relate to those poor folks who suffer from schizophrenia and come into the ER off meds...

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Not to get too off topic, but there was a scientist back in the 50's and early 60's who used LSD on schizophrenic patients with some very interesting results. I can't remember if it was David Bohm or someone he was associated with? It's been 30 years since I last had a Great Northwest experience. Glad it wasn't my thing.Gregs672000 wrote:"Swallowing colors of the sounds I hear, am I just a crazy guy?
