The 185/55/15's will work as long as the offset on the wheels works with the roadster (ZX wheels are +12mm and the roadster Panasports are +15mm if I remember correctly), not sure how accurate your speedo will be though. Your speedo will probably read faster than you are going.
Shouldn't be too far off.

I run 185/65/15 on 15x6 ZX wheels and am quite happy. My speedo didn't work though, And I'm in the process of replacing it with a programmable speedo.

Why are the junk yards filled with newish Saabs?

To me, that would indicate that they are poor cars. But people buy them and percive them as "Classy". So which is it.... Bling ... or ... Junk?

Reason so many are in the junkyard....Really bad drivers, when the crash or otherwise kill the Saab, they move to Volvo. Seriously, I do know their automatic transmissions are not the best and expensive to repair, might explain it. Both of mine were sticks, had like 180,000 miles on each.
