Oil pan gasket

Post by Datsundude »

Hello all,
Can anyone please direct me where I can go and get oil pan gasket beside our vender and Nissan dealer?

Awhile back someone had post the part # os50052 from Napa auto parts and I did a search using this part #, Napa system said has no match with this number.

Can anyone confirm with me if the forklift motor oil pan gasket will fit with our R16 motor?

thanks
Ben

Ben,

Yes, the H20 gasket for the forklift will work fine. Check eBay too - they show up on there with good regularity.

Very cool,
thank for all the helps.
few days ago I went and ordered from local parts store (Kragen auto parts) got the part home find out it is not the correct one
In Kragen data base is listed for Datsun roadster but actually it is for 510.

Well,

There are a couple of places that most of us deal with Fairlady Datsun 818-363-2015 Dean..................Rallye 360-893-4200 Dann...

And someone mentioned it the other day be careful when you order parts from Kragen and such because their 1600 usually applies to the 510...And our parts are under SPL/SRL ....

There are several vendors that may carry that part, but does anyone know what happened to Roadstermart.com? They seemed to be a flash in the pan...

I used the H20 gasket when I stroked my 1600. It fit perfect. I should have bought two but forgot about the crank scraper. Check the yellow pages for a forklift repair shop. I found three locally and after a couple of phone calls decided which one to use and they have been great.

Thanks all for the inputs.
I found the parts I need (oil pan gasket for my 1600) at Material Handling supply Nissan original parts for $5.69 cant beat that, Here is the part number for the oil pan gasket #11121-e0700.
I was going to buy couple extra for future use but they went out. They have few different one for the H20 motor so I brought my oil pan in for reference and surely we found the one that fit perfectly.

If anyone interested rebuilding your R16 motor can contact this mechanic who work at Material Handling Supply. I got a quote from him for a complete rebuild for $1500.

Especially thanks Ron Eastmedia for referring me to Material Handling supply thanks dude you are the man.
