New Guy from St. Louis Area

Post by Idryfly5 »

Hey everyone, just joined the forum. I live about 30 miles southeast of St. Louis between Waterloo and Red Bud, IL.......looking to purchase a roadster here soon. I've had Nissan's ever since I was 16. Started with a 86 z31 n/a with 32k miles, drove it all through high school and now it sits in the garage with 55k miles being a garage queen. Purchased a 85 z31 turbo and built it mildly, ran low 13's on the tired t3, then parted it out. Then bought a fairly stock 92 z32TT. Did some modifications to it, got it running awesome, and then the drivers side turbo blew. Ended up selling it, didn't want to pull the engine a second time. Once I pick up a roadster I plan to do the sr20det swap and have a fun little car.

Welcome, you've started in the right spot. Read everything you can in the engine swap section and don't hesitate to ask questions. the group here will be (more than) happy to give you their expert opinions on just about anything! :-) when you start to locate a candidate, post pictures here, we can help you evaluate the value.
Questions to start with:
Do you want high or low windshield.
Normally I'd ask 1600 or 2000, but since you want to swap, I'd look for a 1600 for the best pricing.
Good luck and again, welcome aboard the addiction!
