Today I didn't go anywhere in particular but I got there in somewhat of a hurry. Unfortunately I quickly ran out of open highway after the on ramp. Please ignore the stock speedo.....

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
I went on a short drive to pick up pizza for my daughter's bday.since it has been pouring rain for a week now and the roads are full of water. Did not want to go to far but felt the car needed to be run. When I came back out some careless person put the classic aggressive car door opening dent into my newly installed and beautiful chrome. ARGHHH. No car parked next to me so they obviously moved on.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
We drove about 900 miles in the last week, up to Watkins Glen, around the lakes and up and down a CRAPPY dirt road to the house.
Again, nice quiet morning, cup of coffee and the SU tool kit I set the carbs. Took about 15 minutes, set the fast idle, and now it's finally right, won't start cold without the choke, runs great. Something about that driveway. Freshly polished wheels and the rest of the car were filthy. On the way back, fully loaded, had to park with the big boys.

Fine drive today, 9-8-13, to the East side of the Cascades.
Weather was perfect. 262 miles.
Drove up 2 paved Forest Service roads.
Got a box of apples that fit nice in the 1500 third seat!.
Took some "calendar" pictures.
Ted.

Snoqualmie Pass on I90.

Happy Roadster Driver.

Warm up for the real Apple run in October.

Drove to Fontana Nissan's meet at the Auto Club Speedway.. Ended the day parked next to a pretty lil GTR..

Left with some friends for dinner..

Headed to the next meet in El Monte

The heat of the day finally over.. The cool night was beautiful.. So was the sunset with the moon..
