Differences between solex and su manifolds
I would like to put Webers on my 2000, but I am unwilling to pay the ridiculous prices that the solex manifolds go for, so my question is is it possible to feasibly convert a SU 2000 manifold to accept Webers? Is it just the bolt holes that are different. They sell stuff called Alumalloy that I could use to add onto the manifold to create new mounting holes? Or could I take a 1600 manifold set up for Webers and add material to it and make it fit a 2000 head? And how come noone sells a manifold for the 2000 but they do for the 1600? Thanks!
