Nice score, they should fit no problem! May even need spacer to bring them out. Cool

Nice find. Now the right tires and all is good. Beside working better, they will look good.

Spent the day on my back, upside down, and uncomfortable, fitting the dash loom and gauges.
Apart from a few whoopsies, everything worked out OK.
Need to get a dozen globes to fit to all the lamp holders for the illumination and warning lights.

Speedo and tacho cables are in, as are the choke and hood release cables.

I've been searching everywhere for a positive earth battery but no one seems to have them

Interesting, I never realized, and didn't think, there was a difference in the battery, just in the wiring of everything else connected to it?

Dash looks great!

Not sure if they will work on the early gauges, but I found, at "Batteries Plus Bulbs", direct replacement LED bulbs that fit my late model tach perfectly. They were so new to the store that they had not yet received them into inventory so not found a place to display them.

Thanks, I hope to have the engine running later this month.
I have a kit to clean and seal the fuel tank but the weather here has been atrocious lately.
Waiting for some sunny days
Oh, and there is no such thing as a positive ground battery, it was as mentioned, as "fishing expedition"

Some $$$$s later I have fitted a fully reconditioned radiator and filled the cooling system up with water.
No idea how many years it has been since this all happened!
No major leaks......yet!
Image
There were a few drips from the water pump but that didn't surprise me.
It's fixed itself now
Have to wait and see how it behave under stress.
I'll get my spare re-conditioned anyway and swap them over later.

I actually have 3 water pumps.
The original, a used one [on the engine] and a brand new alloy pump.
The alloy one is not 100% compatible but it will do at a pinch.

I finished Greg's wiring today while he was assembling his engine. That thing has some serious head work.

Now on to my car.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.
