Try it again...

Post by 240z666 »

Well the 70 1600 did not work out. The owner decided to sell the car to a person that wanted the spare motor.
Soooooo I now have title in hand of a 67.5 1600. The car is listed
in the registry but I never saw it in the classified area.
I bought it from a gentleman that owned it since '73. He had
the engine rebuilt 5 yrs ago and has only put 5k miles since
the rebuild. He also installed a 5 SPD at that time.
It has both the soft top and a hard top and many spare parts
including a complete new carpet set. He states that there is no rust anywhere
and in the pictures it looks that way.
I hope it's as good as it looks.
FYI vin is spl31114316

Welcome, and I'm glad you were able to get a car! There are advantages to both versions, but I prefer the short earlier cars myself for looks.
