Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Took my relatively recently roadster down the Seward Highway along the beautiful Turnagain Arm to Seward and back. My longest trip since I got the little beastie. Great fun even on an overcast day. No problems on the 250 mile journey with the engine, tranny or suspension though lots of new squeaks, creaks and rattles I had not noticed before.
Longest trip before this was 25 miles when I had just gotten all the crucial electrical system sorted out and replaced the fluids and filters (that based on the age of the filters had not been done in 10+ years) and done my first tune on the SUs.
Have I said how much I love driving this car. It is the tops, way better than any other vehicle I've owned.
Here's the route:

Took 697 up to Devils Den State Park this past Friday to visit with Sid and his family. They are out on vacation traveling the country and stopped off near me in Arkansas.
And NO, the kids didn't ride there. Just pictures only!

Zogster,
We need a pic or 2. I know you have some great scenery there too.

Wow, look at that. Sid's a young guy after all.
All kidding aside, you have a beautiful family Sid. Where's a picture of your Ford Powerstroke?
I'm jealous. Bob has some nice twisty roads around there to play on. Just keep those damn tornadoes away.

Took a day trip to Stoney Brook Park. This is in southern NY in the Finger Lakes Region. We took the back roads driving through some nice scenary and along the western shore of Conesus Lake (one of the finger lakes).

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Wow, I can finally post here! I actually drove my Roadster twice this weekend!
And one of those times it was even legal!
Got some gremlins to sort out with the electrical and lots of little things I want to do, but here is a very non-thrilling video....
Mostly legal

Completely legal!

Congrats Tom. Looking forward to some views of those "moonshine" roads in the NC back country. Yeehaw!

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Thanks Linda. Alvin, David and David. Now my only issue is time to work on it!
But at this point, all projects have to end with a drive - no hopefully nothing longer than day projects - a guy can dream can't he?

Yes, the light yellow, looks the same as your car color but I am not sure of the color codeSolex68 wrote:Is your car yellow?jrusso07 wrote:Took a day trip to Stoney Brook Park. I DROVE to San Leandro for the Vintage Auto Salon. My little brother actually picked me up at the airport in my roadster just before the show. It was fun to see/hear it pull up to the terminal!
