antenna

Post by shifty »

I've seen the antennas mounted on a plate off the frame on the rear of the Modesto roadsters and I really like the look. Not sure if they are CB or CB/AM/FM.

I'd like to mount an AM/FM (not worried about CB) antenna on my '69, but I can't seem to find a long "whip" antenna anywhere. Everyone sells little stubby rubber antennas these days. I want chrome! And maybe a little orange flag like my 3-speed bike from kinderhood!

Looks like an AM/FM/CB antenna from a Honda Goldwing would do the trick, but they go for $150!

Any suggestions? Are the mounts to the frame custom? Alvin, don't you have one of these?
