I don't know why the cops don't bust people for making a left across the double yellow line up there. A cop was there last weekend so I went past and made a U turn when it was legal.

I DROVE to the Inland Empire Z meet, then up GMR.. After spending 90 minutes up the hill, we came down to the sight of a tower of smoke.. Seems a Prius decided it was done being green..

That's because its LEGAL to turn into somewhere, just not legal to pass.Linda wrote:I don't know why the cops don't bust people for making a left across the double yellow line up there. A cop was there last weekend so I went past and made a U turn when it was legal.
Linda
It has to be a double double solid yellow line to be illegal.

RoadsterMike & Solex68 Hit Coffee & Cars Irvine @ 6:30 A.M. and represented Datsun Roadsters. There was one or two 240Zs and also a 710 from Colorado. Click on Photo for a better view.

I am not sure what my wheels are exactly. I picked mine here from Mike Spriso. I love em. They are so lite.

Thanks. I have 14x6 watanabe rims on my roadster. I ran out of gas pulling into my driveway. That was close...I really need to figure out my gas gauge issues.

LOL. I had that issue at one time too Mike. Mine was a corroded sensor. I pulled it when I coated my gas tank. It is happy now.roadstermike wrote:Thanks. I have 14x6 watanabe rims on my roadster. Mike's clean car with the nice paint drew the crowd in!

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Missed CarsNCoffee (wife was working that morning), but took my nephew down PCH to Crystal Cove (Corona Del Mar / Laguna Beach) then came back via 405.
The Audi SUV driver with his whole family inside was not happy when I went on ramp to fast lane (80+) in one swoop. What, he had left a healthy gap, and we all know the gaps forward of you are easier to hit than the ones behind.....
My nephew (~14) managed to fall asleep in the passemger seat on the way home, on the freeway! now that's tired!
Great day, great drive.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
One of the fellow owners came over with light problems. After we finished getting the lights working I took him for a ride in the stroker. Did a nice 80mph short run up the freeway.
Perhaps he'll want a stroker now.

66 stroker, almost done.
