Familiar car, familiar name, new location

Post by EffinJaeger »

Hello roadster people. Proud new owner of a '68 2000 generously donated by my father. (Thanks again dad) After an epic adventure to Shasta from Vancouver, meeting a slurry of amazing people along the way the car and I safely, without any incident made it back to its new home of Edmonton, AB.
Hi, I'm Trevor and I'm a roadster nut in training.

Woo hoo my friend! So glad to see you here! For those of you who don't know, Trevor and I were co-travelers to Shasta and had a great time together.

Your father has indeed blessed you with a mighty machine. Carl and I had many high speed, ear to ear grin generating road excursions with our two cars, and now he is passing that legacy on to you. I know you will respect the machine and take good care of her. You are a long ways away (it was what, another 12 hrs home for you AFTER driving back to BC from Shasta, right?!), but I hope to see you again in the silver sled. I'm not exactly sure who may be close by, but there is a lot of Roadster folks who may be within striking distance for some fun runs or whatever.

Keep in touch here!

Hey Greg! Yeah the trek from Vancouver to Edmonton was pretty good too. Didn't wanna stop driving. But I take it out every opportunity I get here. Was thinking of possibly comming down for Shedd BBQ but we'll see if work and life permits it. I only have a few more weeks of fair weather here anyways :/ I tried to throw some photos up from my Iphone but I will have to try from the laptop once I get home. Thanks for the warm welcome look forward to trolling these forums and soaking up some if the knowledge floating around here.
