Thanks for all the replies, especially Bucky for the lengthy email with all the good information. I'm interested in seeing some local cars and have sent PMs out.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on this craigslist ad: http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/3899481316.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

The seller bought it recently in Las Cruces and says it runs and that he drove it a short distance. He's said he's retired and unsure if he's up to dealing with this car. He had previously restored some British sports cars. He said it was stored outside before he bought it. He also said that it's been repainted and that the original color, he thought, was cream. He said he thought it had no serious rust issues.

Seems a little pricey to me based on what I've seen advertised elsewhere.

How costly would it be to get it into driving condition?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome Bob.

Looks like we are discussing the same car in your other thread.
