I like the red stitching, by the way how do you have your door top finisher fastened on back side? Just some type of adhesive? Nice.

Wheels do look great, Joe!

I did a complete tune up, (points, plugs, cap, wires, set valve clearance and replaced all filters) and carb synch on my 70 SPL U20 swap To make a run down to Waneta Lake for a Fathers Day family gathering.

Car ran great!

Yesterday I pulled the idler and steering box off the '68, did the same to my '67, and put the better '68 stuff on my car. Some of the tie-rods fought me, and I didn't want to use a pickle fork because they ruin the boots. Got a small tie-rod puller tool and that did the trick very well, highly recommended. Had to remove the top plate off the steering box to get it past the frame etc, but that made it easy.

The original outside screws actually. I poked holes through the vinyl with the screws since they're pointy.

I washed and waxed the car and wheels and polished all the chrome with chrome polish. No grease, no tools, no mystery. 8)

Linda, I don't know what that is, but it sure is shiny! (edit) it's a bumper overrider

I spent about an hour with pb blaster, a phillips, and a pair of vice grips, taking my headlight buckets off.
It's amazing how a car that's been sitting for over a decade, can decide to weld itself together. ;-)

Pulled the engine on #60. Transmission looks to have had some recent work done to it. I may not need to rebuild it. Let's hope!

Rebuilt my fuel pump. The kit I received even came with the lower seal. Yuck!

Also installed some 6.5's. I need to buy a 4 channel amp and hook up the 10" sub I have kicking around from when I had my Frontier.
