Do the center caps fit on the front wheels?
The caps do not fit on my front wheels because the bearing grease cap sticks out too far. The centercap looks like it would clear the castle nut, but the bearing cap has a pronounced dome on it. I tried a test fit without the grease cap on the hub and almost destroyed the center cap when removing it as one if its tangs (I guess you would call them) was jammed between the hub and rim.
If you are using these wheels, are you using the caps?

280ZX wheels
I have just left the caps off the front. As you say they are too shallow to fit over the dust cover.
An adapter could probably be made (as alvin did for his caps).

Not those iron cross wheels, these.

Though I imagine the issue would be exactly the same.
My old wheels had spacers on them, now that I think about it, this could be the reason why. I may give those a try, but it doesn't look too bad without the front caps.
Thanks for the info.
