Great. Do take SPL310's advice and drive it a bunch before you start tearing into it too much. Get it running well, and stopping safe, clean it up real good and drive it. Use your winters for doing the big stuff. The help and knowledge on this forum is without words. A lot of great family here.

I agree with both of you. I only plan on doing basic maint. and driving the car. I have plenty to do, and I think this one should be kept stock if at all possible. Might go with electronic distributor, but that is about all.
Looks like this is going to be a great place to learn about the roadsters....and I have a lot to learn:).

Congrats on the new Roadster. Glad you didn't get the rotary... that thing was a piece of crap.

He was a nice guy, but I would put another 5k in that one and not have an original car. The one I am getting, is pretty much a time machine:)

Congrats JM. You made the right decision. That rotary has been for sale locally for a long time and for good reason. It has more issues than Lindsay Lohan. And like Lindsay, on a rare good day, it might look OK on the outside, but it will never be right.

Yes, I just could not make the numbers work. Then the one I am getting came up the next day...
Hope to get together with you guys. Maybe we can be the beginning of a little Boise roadster club:)
