Hahahaha... love it. I appreciate all the advice guys... I'm currently compiling a list of everything you all have said so I can start off on the right foot.David wrote:Kiss your wife and daughter every day and tell them how much you love them. (It makes it harder for them to say no when you need more money for parts) Good luck with the project.
My ultimate plans are to just get it checked and running smooth for the next few months. I will be paying off my Goat in about a year, and will then finance a full frame-off body and paint job. Then begins the real work, I suppose... I would like to keep the engine stock, with only a pair of Mikuni's (which I will need some advice on) and a different exhaust.
My big fears at this point are body cancer and missing small parts that may be hard to source (ie: the chrome strip on the hood intake) Luckily, the car is primered underneath, and only painted with plasti-dip for easy removal when it's time for body work. From what I've gathered, I need to focus on the wheel wells, the trunk, and the space under the battery? Any other cancer-prone areas?
