lights instead of reflectors

has anyone ever saw a roadster with lights instead of the reflectors
on the rear of the car?i bought one and it has them.the name on the lights is everwing and is made in japan,just like the rest of the lights on the car.any info?

Some foreign market cars have different taillights. Personally, I want to see the French (?) market lights that have a secondary bulb. It looks goofy from the drawing in the parts book....
